This is one of the simplest recipe for a sweet dish.
Ingredients:
1) Any sized full raw papaya : Peeled and cut into wedges
2) Ghee
3) Sugar
4) Cardamon Powder
1) Peel, wash and cut the papaya into even sizes. Boil it till 2 whistles and then grind it into a smooth paste.
2) Now heat good amount of ghee in a pan. Put papaya paste and keep on stirring it.
3) After 20-25 mins of stirring, add 2-3 pinches of cardamon powder. And mix well.
4) After stirring for another 20 minutes add sugar. By now the paste would have reduced to half and will have thick consistency.
5) Add finely chopped dry fruits.
6) Your papaya halwa is ready to be served. This can stay up nicely in fridge for 3-4 days.
